Scores are estimates within about 2 points; percentiles are the exact official ETS figures; the AWA essay gets a separate AI estimate. See our editorial standards.

What you get

More than a score. A read on what to do next.

Instant score report

Scaled score, percentile, and AWA estimate the moment you finish, no waiting and no email gate.

Every question explained

A full worked solution and the common traps for every item, not just an answer key.

Your exact percentile

Verbal and Quant percentiles are the official ETS figures, the number admissions actually reads.

A plan, not just a number

Your biggest point leaks and what to drill next, with a path toward your target.

How the scoring works

Honest about what is exact and what is estimated.

  • Section-adaptive, like the real test

Your first section of each measure is medium for everyone. How you do on it sets whether your second section is easier or harder, and only the hard track can reach the top of the scale.

  • Exact percentiles, estimated scaled score

The percentile for any scaled score is the exact official ETS figure. The scaled score itself is a reverse-engineered estimate, within about 2 points, since ETS does not publish its equating.

  • AWA is an AI estimate

The essay gets an AI estimate against the official 0 to 6 rubric, clearly labelled. It does not replicate ETS's human-plus-e-rater scoring.

Question 9Arithmetictrap1:18
is a positive integer.
Quantity A
Quantity B
Not quite. Here is exactly where it went wrong.
Correct answer
(D) The relationship cannot be determined from the information given

Worked solution

If is even, Quantity A is positive and Quantity B is negative, so A is greater.

If is odd, A is negative and B is positive, so B is greater.

The relationship depends on whether is odd or even, so it cannot be determined.

How to approach this

Test parity: try and . Two cases that disagree force the answer D.

How NOT to approach this

Do not assume a larger exponent means a larger value when the base is negative.

Questions

How the mock works.

Yes. It follows the real structure (five sections, the official timings, section-adaptive Verbal and Quant) with original questions written to match the format and difficulty.
The scaled score is an estimate, within about 2 points, built on a reverse-engineered model since ETS does not publish its equating. The percentile shown for a given scaled score is the exact official ETS figure.
Yes, at the section level, exactly like the real GRE. Your first section of each measure sets the difficulty of the second. It is not question-by-question adaptive, because the real test is not either.
No. Every question is original and written to match the official format and difficulty. We never use real, test-secure ETS questions, and every item is independently verified.
